Another menu for tonite..

holaaa everybody.. very long time no post.. for those who waited eagerly.. thanks for the long waiting ( i guess nobody did anyway for all i care).. how long has it been? almost a year i guess..sorry i'm a bit selfish in terms of writing stuffs.. i like to write but i'm lazy.. or mebbe i'm just shy.. or whatever..

so tonite i'm back.. with another menu..heheh.. since i'm shy to write about myself, i'll just talk about food, one of my favourite topic..

so just now i went out for my midnite lunch as usual and because i had stopped eating maggi goreng ayam quite a while ago (check my previous post ) so actually i have been going around other places from ss2 stalls up until 222 mapley beside my usual spot, ss14(jaya). But tonite my since my usual buddies were off duty, i decided to settle down at a stall in front of the ss14 7eleven for a simple burger..

as simple as it may sounds, for me it is special (everything food is special to me in some senses). Actually last nite i had one too. But still tonite i wanted to have it again. Hmm if something can make me eat it 2 nites in a row, it definitely is worth being told in this blog of the gluttony.

As i stood there waiting for the "brader burger" to do his thing, i took a closer look at how do they do it..

the grilling was nothing special from the usual slice-it-in-2-but-not-completely-in-2 style so that the meat is cooked thoroughly.. after some sprinkle of pepper then it was ready to be folded with spread-fried egg. while he was doing all this, the other "brader burger" was preparing the bun. half of the bun was spreaded with sliced cabbage n onion topped with 2 pieces of cucumber and combined with ketchup and mayonaisse all these made the bottom half of the structure..

on it the egg-wrapped meat was placed and then the brader shaked more whitepepper and added soy sauce to the building before squeezing some more ketchup (or was it chilli this time?) and more mayonaisse and finally roofed it up with the upper half of the bun..

i expected to see some white powder a secret ingredient slipped in somewhere in the process but then again i think i wouldnt want to see anymore things added in the recipe after all that was put on it.

and then here i was, sitting comfortably on my chair, with my burger spreaded ready  upfront, a bottle of lipton ice tea lemon at the side and 3 more episodes of "supernatural" on the playlist, i was more than ready to plunder all at one time.    300107_0201

but no thanks to all the ketchups and mayo, i could not eat the burger without not keeping my mouth and my hands clean.. they were seeping and oozing all over the places and the meat sliding crazily everywhere in between the buns i just had to forget years of growing up and used my bare fingers just to get ahold of them..

the pic turned out to look not that tasty but the real thing was so good that it was gone within minutes.. :) heheh i guess the just-put-it-all-in ingredients mixture does work huh..

okay as for the price, my piece costed me rm2.70, minus the special (egg) is rm2.20 and the cheese special (like cheeseburger) is rm3.70. extra rm1 for a slice of cheese ka.. forget it.. i've enough fat to last a few winters (not in malaysia la..thats why i cant slim down heheh)..

okay guys enough for tonite..enlighten me if you have any burger stalls that make good burgers that u know of.. maybe i'll check it out while i'm still in burger mood for my midnite lunches.. till then :p

Snardir on a Gluttony survey

Another night on the watch. tis almost 2am, so far did a few things, went out on a break to have a late dinner, and b4 that watched 4 episodes of House. and still got half the shift to kill.. so here i am..

talk about late dinner.. tonite is the 4th consecutive nights i have consumed maggi goreng ayam for late dinner(ppl who have normal dinner call it supper). no to mention on the nights of my last niteshift. it seems like i dont wanna eat anything else than that at night. i was actually thinking about it before i went out for late dinner. obviusly i think i'm addicted to maggi goreng already..

here's to proof my obsession about it. there's 3 main mamak restaurant in the ss14 area(near jaya there) and i've tried all 3 places. in comparison ;

1) mamak nearest to the mosque(i didnt notice the name.. i only noticed the maggi goreng) got volume on their maggi goreng, and it really looks tasty with cuts of prefried chicken portruding in between the fried strands of the maggi. but when you are halfway down, you'll realize that the portruding brown things were not all chicken but mixes of chicken and guess what.. cucur rojak. what were they doing in my maggi goreng? how dissapointing..  its like being conned to believe that the dish is big in volume and lots of chicken some more.. if i wanted cucur rojak i would've asked for it.

2) mamak asshifa (a few doors down from 1)) serves about the same volume of maggi goreng with the same style of mix-in the chicken.. but this time, i noticed that it was the other way round.. all that's brown and chunky were chicken slices and that was great except for that the chicken consumed too much spaces there were little left for the maggi(sayur lagi..). so in the end, my maggi goreng dissapeared in a lot lesser time than the chicken. whether it is a good thing or not depends..for me, although it looked like less maggi, actually it was just enough for me.. ahah i forgot one thing, here the maggi goreng ayam comes with small pieces of chipped chicken bones in it that really got on my nerves after a few times i kept hitting the jackpot. they should really sharpen their cleavers so that the bones wont cracked to pieces in the cutting process. but the thought of perhaps one of the mamak used the wrong side of the cleaver crossed my mind at that time.. could be, right?

3)  the last mamak was situated across the road from 7eleven. this mamak serves maggi goreng with ayam style, meaning the chicken were cut and put nicely on the side, not mix-in. with this style, you'll know at first look whether the volume is too little or too much, for the chicken's volume wont blind your judgement. the only catch is, upon serving, the mamak without being asked will pour an inconsiderably strange amount of chili sauces on the chicken slices. yeah, and its not any special sauces or anything, its just chili sauce. hello..chili sauce is supposed to be an option! and he thought everybody eats chicken with chili sauce. i just hate it when i'm defied of my rights to choose.

regarding taste, all 3 are about the same.. and there's the hungry factor. when i'm really hungry, things taste better comparing to when i'm less hungry..so i cant really compare except i tasted all 3 at the same time. actually they're all okay. after all, its maggi goreng at mamak. except for the distinctive taste of maggi, the other tastes taste like typical mamak taste..

but the no 3) mamak got the cheapest price. i didnt actually confirmed the price coz i guess it will be different each time you come. same meal of maggi goreng ayam and teh tarik costed me rm6.40 at 1) and 2) but only rm6 at 3). so the next time i came to 3) i asked for maggi goreng ayam and no sauce. yeah i thought i saved 40cents...but i lost more than that bcoz 7eleven was just across the road i couldnt help myself drop by it to buy titbits after my meal.. :p

gluttony indeed..

Snardir's new job

jeng jeng jeng.. posting from the workplace.. heheh..

tis been awhile huh.. lazy one thing, and lazy some more.. lots of things to write, but soo little time, plus the laziness.. rather spend time sleeping than writing blogs n stuffs..

oh, then why write now?

coz got few spare times la of course..

no.. work has already finished, its already 620pm.. i'm on unpaid overtime.. but doesnt matter though, coz i'm not really working..

oh, then why do ot ?

coz its friday n the fed hiway is jammed all the way to desa petaling i suppose.. (yesterday also jammed lor) tis like everybody is staying in kl since monday morning (jam olso) until friday evening then they go back home at the same time.. aiyah

hm but the office is too cold..but if go back now, i will develop arthritis on my ankle before i even arrive at kajang exit..

hmm  i think i want to kacau my frend over at sato pj, ask him out for a teh tarik treat while waiting for the jem to ease..

plus tomorrow's not a working day.. hmm okay i'll just do that.. chow neh..

snardir on mc leave.. a day off but a post more..

why did I suddenly begin writing back in this frenster blog? the answer is, my 'abducted' posts have been returned! haha..
now i understand how a writer's feel, maybe my jots couldn't be compared to any serious writer's writing, but at least i got to understand how they will feel when their work been robbed off them, whether it be pirated or quoted without permission or whatever.. i will feel angry, and i had felt that when this blog's server 'abducted' my posts last month..
well the returning of my posts won't guarantee that it wont occur again in the future..and considering other risks of losing by leaving your thoughts and works in virtual form, maybe i'll  change it  to  other forms, hardcopies for eg, or maybe i'll just stop writing something worth saving..(yeah right like i've been doing that all this while :P)
anyway i'll post again whenever i'm feeling like posting n i'll take my chances next time onwards..
till then..
(i was mad before but thanx to whoever or whatever person or thing or glitch that returned my posts.. i really appreciate it..)

snardir's spoiler

At last.. after a long wait.. tonite i finally got my spoiler. my beloved  r33  was for quite a long time lacked of the look that it should have had, and tonite.. 2 days before hari raya i managed to complete my car's makeup :))
the process looked so simple that when i looked back, i couldn't believe that i had took about 2 months to settle this thing. basically it was --grab an unused broken spoiler from a friend--send it to fixing--paint--attach to the rear of my car. only 4 processes that anyone can complete within 2 or 3 days.. but it took me 2 whole months.. why? hmm i could only think that the human factor was the biggest thing that had caused the delay.. maybe the communication between me and the friend, me and the mechanic, me and the painter blablablah  were among the factors.
well between me and the friend, the bargain for me to get the spoiler from him took about a month. then the rest took another month to finish.. patience also played a big role here.. without my patience, i think both the friend and the rest of the people involved would have had seen the side of me that was not suppose to be seen if they were up to my expectance. well not that i blame them....patience.... woohsaa...
okay anyway i got what i wanted, although the paint job was'nt exactly as i had expected, and the fixing was a bit halabalai(didn't really satisfied the conditions needed; got the vocab from my mom:P). well to state it mastercardly;

broken spoiler from a friend -- rm50
fix job -- rm60
paintjob and attaching --rm40
the satisfaction watching the GTR spoiler completed my r33's vspec bodykit..  -- priceless

cam poyo lak rasa.. ;P
but some good things do come with patience...

Sleep deprived Snardir..

Today is Sunday. It is the first day of a 9 day long Hariraya holiday for me. For us, working citizens, this long holiday is a once-a-year thang and we intend to enjoy every moment of it.
What is this gotta do wit lack of sleep? well actually for the last few days i have'nt had enough sleep. holiday was nearing and we have to finish things off before the long holiday according to schedule. the thing is, the amount of workload to time ratio was absurd. a week or 2 loads of work gotta be done in a few days' time. and my leader was convinced that we could finish it off in time..although as a leader he gotta think positive..but he should know better to be realistic and admit that it was impossible..instead of push ourselves out of limits.. and that he did, yes..
so on our 2nd last night bfore the holiday started, my team and I stayed in office until 4am tried to do the impossible.. and not only we didn't do a lot due to exhaustion and lost concentration..actually i think the only thing we managed to do was deprived ourselves from a good night's rest... and the result, everybody turned up to work the next morning with red eyes and short tempers. maybe our leader thought that we're a bunch of kids that have no problem staying up all night and all.. well we're not. ten years back maybe 2 sleepless nights wouldn't hold us back(i did that in my SPM heydays) but not now.. our body aged and after effects were lot more than before..
although the day after the stayback everybody came like usual(plus the sleep deprived symptoms mentioned earlier), we just couldn't shake it off. at last the after effects came and yesterday, the final day before the holiday, one of our team members was down with a fever, another one decided to pullout and took a leave, and the most ironic thing was.. my leader himself was on sick leave.. that left only two of us team members to complete all the pending tasks..what a great teamwork... the impossible just got worse. and to hell with it..
apparently us, the sarcastic-but -still-commited duo, we saw that there was no meaning for us to care anymore.. so we threw the day away and started thinking bout our coming holidays for a change.. at least as a team..the two of us deserved the rest too, right..?

HIstory of Snardir

Snardir
One of a character in an online multiplayer game, The Kings Of Chaos, Snardir represents the Human race in a fierce world of endless wars and battles between the races of Humans, Orcs, Elves and Dwarves.

Snardir started as a small force of Orcs in the middle of Age3 under the command of Zebb, a  cunning Elf  that had showed him ways around the Chaosworld. After a few months scouring and ravaging for golds with a few hundred armies, Snardir was under constant sabotage by a number of superior forces. Oppressed and beaten, Snardir turned to Zebb to seek help. That was the time when Zebb brought Snardir to meet another Elf, a very high ranked Cikun the Elf Warrior.

Cikun, who was actually an old friend of Snardir, gladly  invited  him to join his clan for protection and also to learn more about the Chaosworld. Not long after that, Snardir was an active figure in his new clan of sabbers, The Shadow Dragons. Guided by numerous great forces of Williamch, Killer89, Levoodoo and Eric777 who all were ranked under 1000, to name a few, Snardir's  forces  of Orcs  grew bigger and stronger.

And then Age3 ended. Now supported by the great forces of The Shadow Dragons, Snardir strided into Age4 as a Human subofficer of Cikun who was directly under The Shadow Dragons' command. And along with him, emerged the future warrior of the Chaosworld, PissingDragon, a Human leader who shared his dream to conquer the four corners of the Chaosworld. Together Snardir and Pissingdragon built enormous armies of humans and in the process, recruited numbers of officers.

Now Snardir of the Humans, armed with tens of thousands of troops, decided to form a clan with other forces to strengthen his power. That was when Lolicon Mayhem was established. Started by both Snardir and Pissingdragon's forces, Lolicon Mayhem was fast becoming a fierce clan. And then with the joining of Da_Warlord and Ayzazzin, two big forces of Elves , and then Nightkiller-, a ruthless Elf Sabber, Lolicon Mayhem grew stronger than ever.

Snardir elected PissingDragon and Da_warlord and himself as the high councils of the Lolicon Mayhem and with the support of The Shadow Dragons and Phoenix Rising, the biggest clan in the Chaosworld, Snardir and Lolicon Mayhem gloried Age4 with total achievements of their goals, especially when numbers of the joined forces succeeded in owning the highest level of fortification, the Hand Of God. By the end of Age4, Snardir's army alone had reached more than a hundred thousand with vast weaponries and hundred millions of ratings in military power.

And with that, the now experienced Snardir and the Lolicon Mayhem moved again into a new Age. The 17 joined forces of Lolicon Mayhem will now face new challenges of Age5, an age where The Shadow Dragons clan had dispersed, and rumbles inside the Phoenix Rising had created numerous growing forces of unknown power. With his experience and his own network in the Chaosworld, Snardir will lead the young warriors of Lolicon Mayhem to glory again..
as his saying goes..

-to stride with strength and pride, and to fight with valor and might..

Lolicon Mayhem forever..

join Snardir and the Lolicon Mayhem in KingsofChaos..
